This weblog is mainly still up because being too invisible on the internet for someone who is surely not a digitally illiterate individual, might nowadays even be suspicious. In addition, it is from time to time quite useful for me to use this blog as a tool for some kind of `personal self-diagnosis´ (🩺). But above all, it may rather be much better to provide TRUTHFUL information MYSELF about ME than for third parties like, for example, AI to generate such information. This even regardless of whether that (AI) generated information would be correct or not. 🔍

Nevertheless, this former website in favor of everyone's universal human rights (and duties), the social quality and the predictable consequences of our own endangered habitat, no longer contains relevant content anymore since 2017. The former cyberhulp dot org weblog, is now HOME to the PERSONAL webspace with the lifestory from Eric J. Brassé.*

During the Sixties of the last century, I was born in Roermond. I had a splendid childhood over there. My grandfather comes from Nuth and he worked as school principal. He helped several Jews in hiding during the Second World War. My parents managed their own general practitioner's practice in Roermond. I have two older sisters and one older brother. Despite the turbulent issues which prevailed around the Eighties worldwide, I nevertheless experienced (in my own bubble) such a sense of security as being a carefree teenager, that hitchhiking was my favorite way to travel. And while I was doing my best to grow up as individual human being, I especially enjoyed the so-called `Sjoemelmert´ and the many live playing music bands that performed in cafes and venues in various places around Roermond at that time. This was, by the way, also the start of a for me NOT (too) disturbing, but nevertheless complete `sinusitis orchestra´ inside my already somewhat busy head  (😉). I was not interested in politics at all, although I was a big fan of punk music, particularly The Clash and The Jam.  

I live as quite content `SOLOIST and even SOLOGAMIST´ (😉). In addition, I consciously choose not to have children. A great deal from my (legal fórmer) lifestyle, just was not suitable for raising children; period. And given various global developments, I am still very content with my decision not to have chosen for any kind of parenthood. Furthermore, living under one roof as being married and even living together with a so-called `Tamagotchi´ or a special configured AI partner, did not work out at all (😉 😎). It's `me to blame´ by the way, not whoever else. 😉

Since some years, I don't get PANIC ATTACKS anymore at times when I am relaxing, shade tanning or even just doing totally nothing, re-experiencing great (however past) adventures nor when I enjoy hobbies like computing, lurking through magazines, chilling, listening to music, gathering news, reading, politics, studying, chess, ..., and for example watching various sports (🎾 😎).**

 

I seriously try to reduce my ecological footprint for the benefit of everyone collectively. I never travel(led) by boat nor by airplane, which makes my living environment somewhat small. I have drastically reduced my gas- and electricity consumption. And past year I used `only´ about 96 liters of water per day.
 
I experience especially the south of Limburg as being quite beautiful. I enjoy and highly respect `MOTHER NATURE´ and I don't have any pets. The free animals in my own garden, live in peaceful `symbiosis´ with `me, myself and I´. Already in 1978 I gave a `speech´ at my primary school in Roermond; as a very early protest against the thén not yet existing so-called `bio-industry´. 🐔
 

Besides a number of challenges, I find far most all I need in MISprized Heerlen-Noord. And despite a lot of negativity outside MY OWN (little) BUBBLE, life is still quite interesting in MY (humble) PERSONAL OPINION. And I am happy that, even after suffering a heart attack, life in the Netherlands can still be (most of the time) móre than pleasant. 😎

 

I have proven to be at least somewhat intelligent (😉) and I  ultimately graduated for my (pre-university) school diploma somewhere back then. In addition to several (véry old) AMBI modules, I also hold diplomas as a tennis teacher and as an IT employee.

People experience me as quite trustworthy. I don't have any criminal record or anything like that and it won't be any problem for me to obtain any `Certificate of Good Conduct´. I have no debts and I never had any kind of issues with (tax) authorities. And since I was seventeen, I've been earning my own income in order to achieve a decent standard of living. I stopped with earning some dimes with Bitcoin trading at the moment (American) Bobo´s started `to take over the crypto markets´.

I mainly labored in Parkstad Limburg and the surrounding area. Financially, I belong to the so-called `lower middle class´ in the Netherlands. Thus I am fár from rich, but I'm not poor either. I am (relatively) quite `independent´ and I'm not easily `blackmailable´ in any way  

  

Around 1983, at the age of barely seventeen, I already started working as a (most of the time independent) tennis instructor. In 1985 I graduated as the thén youngest KNLTB licenced tennis teacher. This all happened around the most glorious years ever in Dutch tennis. After many years of being locally `celebrated´ as a reasonably good B-level tennis player, my then new LIFESTYLE as successful tennis instructor made me feel like KING of MY WORLD. Although it was physically quite demanding work, I mainly experienced HEAVEN on earth for more then twenty years. 🎾 😎

Furthermore, I worked in the at thát time extreme turbulent (night shift) taxi branche. This in an at that time also quite extreme environment. A stolen bicycle was even a much higher priority for the police than severe violence against (night shift) taxi drivers. Around the year 2004, I became the official chosen representative for the Parkstad night shift taxi branche. And although I lived many unimaginable ADVENTURES, I also have witnessed for more than ten years that all kind of people are able (ánd sometimes also willing), to create a devastating hell on earth for others and/or themselves. This adventurous nightlife taxi period was, besides being `addictive´, also very educational. 🎓 🤠

In 2008 at the age of 42 years, I suffered a severe heart attack as a result of my thén (fully legitimate)  life-threatening lifestyle. So I learned early on, that living is accompanied by increasing- and irreversible physical decline.

As soon as it was possible, I started making myself useful to society again. The financial crisis was underway. And some years later the government had even deployed John de Wolf to bring the elderly to the attention of employers in a more vital way. Luckily, I never needed such `elderly promotion´ and I was always able to get PERMANENT contracts. My employers apparently experience(d) me as quite a valued employee. 🚧 🛠️

During my cardiac rehabilitation, I volunteered at what was then known as the Horizon organization. Until 2017 I also remained active as (thén) LEGAL operating hacktivist and human right advocate. Around 1990, I began volunteering to advocate for human rights, the `social quality´ and the predictable consequences of threats to our own environment.

After the rehabilitation from my devastating heart attack, I worked some years in the medical logistics. My previous work as a tennis instructor or working in the taxi business, was medically no option anymore (😢). Earning a decent income by (former) Bitcoin trading, was never really a realistic option. And working in the medical logistics was, besides work related fun, quite an effective `physical post-rehabilitation´ for me at that time. Although I ALWAYS had permanent contracts with my different employers, it was more than crystal clear that I would unfortunately (also) not be able to do the physically demanding logistical work until my retirement. 😢 😭

So after that, I next worked at some ICT help-desks for a number of years. I am quite an autodidact. And since 2012, I have been a MBO graduated- and Microsoft certified ICT employee. In addition, I had a number of related practical experiences, some specific skills and the curiosity to try out ALL KIND of various new ICT applications.

Nowadays, I work as a quite experienced customer service representative at a superb (European) DIY company. This for already more than seven years now. As it looks now, I can work towards my retirement in the next years. This without (too) much stress anymore and, in 2033, after being active in various working fields for about fifty years.

 

I became a (`sleeping´) member from the Dutch and democratic (SOCIAL LIBERAL) political party D66 in 2025. And since the political elections 2025 in the Netherlands, I thus vote(d) for D66. I also sponsored D66 with some (small) financial gifts. In 2025 far most all of the D66 election program, the various voting guides and also AI showed me a quite overwhelming choice for D66. Many challenges nowadays are much too complicated for me to fully understand. So I vote(d) for DECENT politicians to represent me. Furthermore, I surely appreciated the POSITIVE and CIVILIZED election campaign 2025 with front man Rob Jetten. And absolutely UNimportant, I was born as individual human being in 1966. Previously, I voted by far most often for the so-called `NONE option´ during elections. 🖉

The main reasons for founding D66 in 1966 are perhaps even more relevant today than ever before. D66 is NOT a so-called `right- nor left political party´. And the SECULAR Democraten 66 do not have (m)any ideological dogma's. Although some people may think that not having any ideology, can be considered as an ideology in itself. 😉

Thus, I do NOT distrust politics per se. And today's DIVIDED society should accordingly have various CIVILIZED ACTING political representatives. Without any need for panicking, the way (new) politics act, will hopefully continue changing for the better. Europe has the freedom to choose different solutions than many other powers worldwide choose for nowadays. It is known that ADAPTING and CONSTRUCTIVE COOPERATING will offer the greatest chance of any successful future. Although working together and maintaining DEMOCRACY, is not easy at all. Especially for a small country like the Netherlands, which will always remain partly dependent on the GOODWILL of many others worldwide. Moreover, the expectations that many people have of Dutch politics might sometimes simply be incorrect, egocentric, unrealistic and/or too ambitious.

Nevertheless, I really do DIStrust several specific politicians worldwide. And unfortunately there is even an increasing amount of instigators, too many so-called `jobhoppers´ and AMATEURISH `lamaticians´ who gain(ed) political responsibilities. Moreover, I deplore the FEAR-mongering by politicians and the strategy of people (whether or not in power) to let other people' fear rule. This however, without condemning USEFUL feelings of FEAR by the way. I do NOT need (whether or not SHOUTING) politicians or, for example, (whether or not religious) `leaders´ trying to convince me that it will be the end for all of us, if we not choose THEIR way. This usually happens without providing any convincing evidence for those flashy (bullshit) statements. 📢

   

As just one of many citizens, I once used to be with a lot of skepticism about the creation of the current European Union and the Euro, the rampant privatization from public organizations and other matters. Although nowadays, far most of all my own secular interests, are anchored in precisely that capitalistic Europe. It goes without saying that measurements against the EXCESSES of capitalism, among other things, de-facto still remain justified. ☮️

Let's hope that Europe and the Netherlands will choose some other paths then the current political TYRANTS in the United States, Russia and for example China. I deeply regret that economies worldwide are turning (again) into WAR economies (😠). This is, by the way, without me questioning the necessity of this new ongoing militarization in Europe. There are indeed and unmistakable various huge challenges, mega (economic) interests, a new global attitude with power by force, much inflammatory (whether or not fake) information and even very powerful- yet lying `political murderers´, warlords, plain retards and extremists, many threats caused by for example jihadists, violent far-right supporters, intimidating (animal) rights activists, non-ideological motivated terrorists, ..., stoking up to MISbehaviour, oppression, (whether religious- or otherwise related) violence, starvation and/or intolerance. 🪖 😭

Yet, no doubt naively, I still do attach great value to PEACE, non-violent and DEMOCRATIC societies, freedom (of speech), everyone's free will and someone's personal responsibilities, the SECULAR `rechtsstaat´, free judges and press, good affordable healthcare, ..., reason, facts and for example science. Although not everything can be (totally) explained scientifically. And thus spirituality and even philosophy are all the more important for many people's well-being; including mine. 😇
